About The Position

The Key Carrier role is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers alternate their work based on store needs, predominantly performing the Coordinator role and occasionally acting as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. The position requires open availability, including nights and weekends. The role models exceptional customer service and helps create a positive experience for internal and external customers. It supports store operations, Associate coaching and development, customer service, safety, and shrink-reduction goals.

Requirements

Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
Proven problem-solving skills.

Capable of multitasking.
Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Model exceptional customer service and create a positive internal and external customer experience.
Promote honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Ensure the store team performs tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Address immediate customer service issues and provide appropriate coaching to Associates.
Use discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
Ensure Associates follow operational procedures and opening and closing procedures are completed according to company guidelines.
Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback; provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
