About The Position

The Key Carrier is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers primarily perform Coordinator duties and occasionally act as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. The role requires open availability, including nights and weekends, and focuses on customer service, store operations, associate coaching, and maintaining a safe and effective store environment.

Requirements

Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
Proven problem-solving skills.

Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
Able to multitask.
Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Role-model exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for internal and external customers.
Promote honesty and integrity, and maintain confidentiality.
Act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure the store team completes tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Address immediate customer service issues, provide appropriate coaching to Associates, and use discretion with customer service policies to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
Ensure Associates follow operational procedures and opening and closing procedures are completed according to company guidelines.
Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback; coach and recognize Associates.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
