The KA-TM is responsible for building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with physicians, hospitals, EP laboratory staff, and key opinion leaders in order to grow and develop business. As the Key Account Territory Manager, you will: Indirectly lead a team (pod) including Clinical Account Specialists (CAS’s) and partners with Field Service Engineers (FSE’s) to ensure alignment and coordination in meeting business objectives. Responsible for managing all aspects of the customer group, which include members of large hospital systems/IDN and teaching institutions. Influences clinical and non-clinical stakeholders within assigned account base to support the use of all Electrophysiology products. Approaches each customer from a total account management perspective, by leveraging resources appropriately, collaborating with internal and external partners, including stakeholders such as HCPs, Administrators, C-Suite, Quality, Case Management, and other emerging influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent work experience
  • Three years of healthcare and/or business-to-business sales experience or equivalent level experience in a cardio/cardiovascular environment
  • Experience in strategic planning, needs assessment, and cost benefit analysis
  • The ability to travel 65% is required
  • A valid driver's license issued in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Advance degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
  • Medical Device sales experience
  • Cardiology/cardiovascular or medical device industry, with EP experience
  • Documented sales awards and achievement
  • Experience in Education, Training and/or Learning Design
  • Experience in managing large account system contracts
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Preference for candidates currently living in the region
