A growing geospatial consulting firm is hiring a Key Account Manager to expand existing city, county, and state-government relationships across the Western U.S. The role focuses on uncovering customer needs, shaping account plans, and turning GIS strategy into follow-on consulting work. It is a remote field role reporting to the Chief Growth Officer. The Key Account Manager will build trusted relationships with GIS, IT, and agency leaders; identify expansion opportunities across established accounts; navigate stakeholders, funding, and decision timelines; and partner with project managers and consultants to shape future engagements. The role owns account strategy while delivery teams execute the work. The position is remote, with candidates in the western half of the U.S. preferred. Travel is approximately quarterly for client trips, primarily to California, potentially more during the ramp-up period, plus selected industry events. Annual on-target earnings are $100,000–$150,000, including base and performance-based compensation; some flexibility may be available for an exceptional fit. Performance accelerators provide additional earning opportunity, with specific terms discussed during the hiring process.
