About The Position

This Key Account Manager - On the Go role is responsible for the development and implementation of the triple Win Model, and to deliver Ferrero topline Sales and Revenue with assigned accounts. Support the Sales Director in defining the sales strategies (targets, programs, commercial initiatives and promotional policies) for the assigned accounts. This is done in alignment with Corporate objectives & goals specifically pertaining to Ferrero’s annual volume & trade targets assigned to the Customer. The incumbent will collaborate with the retail organization to enable success in store as well as ensuring that all retail initiatives are aligned with Ferrero's strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years experience working within the CPG/FMCG industry
  • CPG market, customer base and market dynamics knowledge
  • Knowledge of Grocery business and distribution network
  • Analytical abilities and data proficiency with original thought to interpret
  • Excel, database management, macro’s abilities
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office software
  • Knowledge and Experience of assigned Customers’ Culture and operating guidelines
  • Customer systems knowledge and experience
  • Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management
  • Skill in planning, organizing, and implementing a range of sales promotion programs and/or events
  • Experience with category management and trade marketing
  • Negotiation, presentation and financial skills

Responsibilities

  • Align trade spend and budget investments with business objectives.
  • Develop volume forecasts, budgets, and Annual Business Plan recommendations to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Monitor spending and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Sales Leadership, category buyers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide updates on sales activities, business performance, and market trends.
  • Build deep marketplace knowledge and collaborate effectively with Merchandisers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute customer growth strategies and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
  • Identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, and corrective actions to drive sales and profitability.
  • Create customer plans aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
  • Build relationships across assigned accounts and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Partner with Finance to manage customer credit activities.
  • Manage forecasts, promotions, pricing, and commercial conditions for assigned customers.
  • Monitor sales performance, costs, inventory levels, and competitive activity.
  • Develop recommendations to optimize inventory, product freshness, field coverage, and seasonal/event programs.
  • Maintain reporting and analytics to improve sell-through and overall business performance.
  • Prepare and negotiate customer agreements and promotional plans.
  • Develop customer-specific selling strategies in partnership with Trade Marketing and Category Management.
  • Identify and execute incremental promotional opportunities.
  • Communicate customer and channel strategies, promotional plans, and business initiatives.
  • Maintain alignment between customer activities and company priorities.
  • Resolve customer issues, coordinate cross-functional communication, and ensure business continuity.
  • Develop retail and account strategies while supporting product freshness initiatives and budget management.
  • Analyze sales results, market trends, category performance, and competitive dynamics to drive business decisions.
  • Develop recommendations for category reviews, planograms, strategic account plans, and program optimization.
  • Conduct post-promotion analysis, risk assessments, and continuous business reviews to identify opportunities for growth and execution improvement.
