Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2+ years of sales/account management experience OR Master’s degree and 4+ years of sales/account management experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of sales/account management experience
  • Demonstrates strong executive presence and communication skills, with ability to engage senior clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work across stakeholders and influence without authority to achieve results
  • Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations while maintaining focus on execution
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to interpret financial and reimbursement data
  • Applies a broader account perspective, understanding system dynamics beyond individual prescribers

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Buy & Bill reimbursement models
  • Prior experience with contracting and account negotiations
  • Experience working within IDNs, GPOs, or complex healthcare systems
  • Knowledge of payer systems, billing, coding, and reimbursement processes
  • Understanding of CMS policies and Local Coverage Determination (LCD) processes
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, PharmD) or AMDP participation/graduate

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day execution of account strategies within a defined geography or customer segment, which will include both live and virtual engagements
  • Responsible for business performance, account planning, and resource coordination within assigned accounts
  • Interpret and execute business plans to achieve objectives
  • Independently determine approach to managing account priorities and activities
  • Assess and diagnose the business environment across assigned accounts
  • Develop and implement account plans aligned to product strategy
  • Identify drivers and barriers to performance and execute targeted pull-through initiatives
  • Monitor account performance and adjust plans to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across health systems, IDNs, clinics, GPOs, and specialty networks
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers within accounts and engage appropriately
  • Serve as contracting point for assigned accounts
  • Support contract execution, business reviews, and performance tracking
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Market Access, Marketing, Pricing, GPO teams) to support account objectives
  • Provide field insights and feedback to inform brand and access strategies
  • Navigate payer systems and reimbursement pathways, including Buy & Bill environments
  • Identify and help resolve contracting, membership, and channel issues
  • Support access optimization and pull-through of formulary decisions
  • Analyze account performance, clinic economics, and financial drivers
  • Interpret data to identify opportunities and inform account strategy
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
