About The Position

As a Key Account Manager (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in expanding our business in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. You will develop and execute market entry strategies, identify growth opportunities, and build strong partnerships with local and international customers. You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and negotiations to closing contracts—while ensuring long-term account success. In addition, you will oversee the performance of existing products, optimize their positioning, and drive new business opportunities. Working independently, you bring a strong hunter mentality and represent our company at industry events and conferences. In a fast-paced environment, you actively contribute to the growth of our payment solutions across the region.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable commercial background.
  • 3–5 years of proven success in Key Account Management or Business Development, ideally in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in payment, prepaid, retail or digital business models is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills combined with a clear focus on revenue growth and opportunity identification.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a track record of closing deals and building long-term partnerships.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented and highly independent with a strong hunter mentality.
  • Fluent in English, Czech and Slovak (German is a plus) and willing to travel across Czechia & Slovakia.

Responsibilities

  • Market development: You analyse the czech & slovak markets and develop effective market entry and growth strategies.
  • Key account management: You acquire new customers and build long-term relationships with key partners.
  • Contract negotiations: You independently lead negotiations and ensure successful deal closures.
  • Performance management: You monitor and optimise the performance of products across point-of-sale and digital channels.
  • Marketing & promotions: You plan and execute marketing, promotional and merchandising activities.
  • Networking & representation: You represent epay at trade shows, conferences and industry events.
