About The Position
The Salvation Army supports local families year-round, not just during the Christmas season. The donations collected during the Christmas season help provide gifts to children, as well as food, shelter, and utility assistance to those in need. This role is an opportunity to help carry the spirit of Christmas throughout the year by supporting the Red Kettle Campaign.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with approval to drive from TSA’s insurance carrier required
- Dealing with people in a customer service or sales role
Responsibilities
- Overseeing kettle drivers, routes and schedules
- Fill in for kettle drivers
- Verifying and printing bell ringer schedules
- Recruit volunteers
- Managing paid bell ringers and schedules using Golden volunteer platform
- Contacting via phone volunteer and paid bell ringers for reminders
- Organizing kettle pick-ups and tracking of kettle location
- Assist in the kettle counting process
- Maintain inventory of kettle supplies
- Must be able to work as assigned without time off during kettle season
