Responsibilities

Provide daily care for hospitalized patients, including feeding, watering, grooming, exercising, and monitoring their well-being
Safely handle and restrain animals as appropriate
Observe patient behavior and promptly report concerns to the veterinary team
Administer non-controlled medications, supplements, or treatments as directed and permitted by hospital policy
Communicate professionally with clients and team members in person, by phone, text, and email
Provide compassionate and courteous service that supports a positive client experience
Clean and maintain kennels, cages, exam rooms, treatment areas, and hospital equipment
Assist with laundry, sanitation, stocking, inventory organization, and general hospital upkeep
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Follow hospital safety, infection-prevention, and OSHA protocols
Complete required training and maintain applicable certifications
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment
