Concorde Education•Calexico, CA

About The Position

Concorde Education is seeking independent contractor instructors for current and future enrichment programs serving K–12 students at schools and community partner locations. Instructors share relevant professional skills, subject expertise, or practical experience through specialized learning opportunities. Teacher certification is not necessarily required; depending on the assignment, experience in coaching, professional practice, tutoring, mentoring, youth development, or specialized instruction may qualify. Programs may cover technology, science and engineering, creative arts, academic development, games and critical thinking, health and recreation, practical skills, and other areas. Assignments vary by school and may include leading interactive sessions for elementary, middle, or high school students; preparing lessons or activities; supervising students; adapting instruction to differing learning needs; and coordinating with school contacts and Concorde Education. Some programs provide curriculum, lesson plans, supplies, or instructional guidelines, while others allow instructors to develop suitable activities using their own expertise. Opportunities are generally part-time, typically 1–4 instructional hours per week over approximately 8–10 weeks. Scheduling, duration, and hours depend on the particular school program. Most assignments pay $50–$65 per instructional hour, though rates may vary. This is an opportunity to be considered for potential independent contractor engagements; applying or completing screening and onboarding does not guarantee an assignment or hours. Any engagement is subject to applicable screening and clearance requirements, school approval when required, and written confirmation of the specific assignment.
