About The Position

The JV Team Girls Basketball Coach at Winograd PK-8 works closely with the head coach to support the coaching plan and leads assigned aspects of practice based on their skills. The coach supervises students until they are picked up from practices or meets, organizes and supervises game help, and assists with supervision at activities. Regular attendance is required. The position is classified as non-exempt, and its contract length and days vary during the 2026–2027 school year. Salary placement on the Co-Curricular Salary schedule depends on the sport, club, organization, or program and the employee’s in-district experience, as outlined in Article XXIII of the Master Contract.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification.
• CHSAA test and regulation.
• Concussion education and completion of concussion training.
• Prior coaching experience in the sport.
• Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
• Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
