Assistant JV Girls Basketball Coach
About The Position
St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School is seeking an Assistant JV Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026–2027 winter season. The school’s competitive athletic program competes in the Independent School League (ISL) and the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA). The coach will help emphasize leadership, sportsmanship, and goodness, which are central values of the athletic program, and contribute to developing young players. St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School is an Episcopal ES–12 school located six miles from Washington, D.C. Its mission is to educate the whole child and to build a caring, inclusive community that values diversity and multiculturalism.
Requirements
- Previous successful club, high school, or college coaching experience.
- Be organized and hard-working.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to develop young players.
Nice To Haves
- Collegiate and/or high school playing experience.
- Coaching experience at the club, high school, and/or college level.
Responsibilities
- Emphasize leadership, sportsmanship, and goodness within the athletic program.
- Help develop young basketball players.
