About The Position

The Girls Basketball JV Coach develops and maintains an efficient and competitive athletic program. The position includes fundraising, running camps and clinics, and ensuring compliance with all AIA bylaws. The coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field. This is a seasonal position at Crismon High School. The role reports to the Athletic Director and is compensated according to the QCUSD salary schedule for the applicable position.

Requirements

• Complete the NFHS Concussion Course.
• Complete the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course.
• Complete the NFHS Bullying, Hazing & Inappropriate Behaviors Course.
• Head coaches must also complete the NFHS Sport-Specific Course and First Aid Course.
• Pass a background clearance.
• Obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of experience preferred.
