JV Boys Basketball Coach
About The Position
The JV Boys Basketball Coach is responsible for leading the junior varsity boys' basketball team. This role involves managing all team activities, including practices and games, from late November to late February, with potential for postseason tournaments. The coach will adhere to district policies and objectives, serving as a role model for student-athletes. Key focuses include personal development, skill enhancement, safety, fair play, and sportsmanship, with the goal of building and improving the team and program. The position requires dependability, attention to detail, collaboration with other coaching staff, ability to travel with the team, and compliance with all relevant district, high school, and NHIAA requirements.
Requirements
- Previous coaching at the high school level preferred.
- Experience working with teenagers preferred.
- Dependable.
- Detail-oriented.
- Willing to work within a coaching staff atmosphere.
- Able to travel with the team to and from away games.
- Meet or be willing to complete all Conway School District, Kennett High School and NHIAA requirements.
