About The Position

Southwind is hiring a Junk and Route Sales Associate to join its Field Sales & Service Team, delivering customer service and sales experiences for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? The role combines on-site sales conversations and estimates with hands-on junk removal from homes and businesses. Team members drive, navigate, and operate box trucks, with training provided, and represent the brand professionally. No prior junk removal experience is required; daily recorded role-play scenarios support training, skill development, and performance improvement. The position is full-time, with four to five shifts per week, including one mandatory weekend shift and three to four weekday shifts. Shifts are 8–10 hours and may fall between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM depending on business needs. Employees must remain available four weekdays and one weekend day each week. Total compensation is stated as $25–$28 per hour, consisting of base pay of $12 per hour plus potential customer tips, profit share, performance incentives, and overtime. A valid DOT Medical Card is required to drive commercial vehicles, and Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining DOT Medical Certification. Uniform requirements apply while at the office, whether on or off the clock.
