About The Position

The Junior Systems Analyst will be a key member of an agile delivery squad and will also support solutioning with Squad Leads and Product Owners. The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, helping analyze the current state of systems, helping define technology solutions, and partnering with QA on test case preparation. It requires collaboration with business and IT groups throughout the product or application lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of systems analysis experience required.
• 1–3 years of experience working within an Agile software development framework.
• Strong skills with database query tools and SQL.
• Strong IT process and technical understanding, with demonstrated knowledge in the area of responsibility.
• Organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet objectives.
• Entrepreneurial problem-solving skills and comfort accepting, proposing, and leading change.
• Growth mindset, commitment to quality, and a self-starter attitude with ownership of outcomes.
• Readiness to discuss agile principles and INVEST during the interview process.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a field with a combined business and technical orientation.
• Domain experience within financial services.
• Ability to thrive within the country’s largest grantmaker (over $10BB granted annually for $50BB AUM).
• Experience or knowledge of RESTful APIs and working on front-end and back-end applications.
