About The Position

The Junior Systems Analyst is a key member of an agile delivery squad and also works with Squad Leads and Product Owners to gather and document business requirements. The role helps analyze the current state of systems, define technology solutions, and partner with QA on test case preparation. It requires collaboration with members of business and IT groups throughout the product and application life cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years of systems analysis experience.
• 1–3 years of experience working within an Agile software development framework.
• Strong database query tool skills and strong SQL skills.
• Strong IT process and technical understanding, with demonstrated knowledge in the area of responsibility.
• Organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet objectives.
• Entrepreneurial problem-solving skills and comfort accepting, proposing, and leading change.
• Growth mindset.
• Commitment to quality.
• Self-starter who takes ownership of outcomes.
• Readiness to discuss Agile principles and INVEST during the interview process.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a field of study with a combined business and technical orientation.
• Domain experience within financial services.
• Ability to thrive within the country’s largest grantmaker (over $10BB granted annually for $50BB AUM).
• Experience or knowledge of RESTful APIs and working on front-end and back-end applications.
