About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc. is hiring a Junior Sales Representative. The successful candidate will train to manage the entire home sales process and communicate with customers from the first interaction through the close of escrow. The role includes qualifying visitors, demonstrating homes and home sites, supporting transactions and tracking loan, options, and construction progress, while maintaining sales files and the sales office. The representative is expected to conduct business professionally and ethically, build rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members, and follow company policies and quality standards.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or two years of related experience.
Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime.
Ability to use DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Proficiency with MS Office and email.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior CRM software experience.
Previous sales experience; knowledge of the industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify visitors.
Demonstrate models, homes, and home sites.
Overcome sales objections and close sales.

Maintain lot files and sales files.
Monitor models and the sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, repairs, and other needs.

Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
