Junior Sales Representative

About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Junior Sales Representative who will train to manage the entire sales process and communicate with customers from their first interaction through the close of escrow. The role supports prospective homebuyers, maintains sales and lot files, tracks transaction progress, and helps ensure the sales office and model homes meet company standards. The representative is expected to conduct business professionally and ethically, build strong relationships with customers, realtors, and team members, and follow policies that ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or two years of related experience.
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime.
Ability to use DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Proficiency with MS Office and email.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior CRM software experience.
Previous sales experience and knowledge of the industry.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify visitors.
Demonstrate models, homes, and home sites.
Overcome sales objections and close sales.
Document transactions and cancellations.
Track the progress of loans, options, and construction.
Respond to customer requests for information.
Maintain lot files and sales files.
Monitor models and the sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, repairs, and other needs.
Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve potential buyers and increase company goodwill and profit.
Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
