About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to train in managing the entire home sales process and communicating with customers from their first interaction through the close of escrow. The role involves working with prospective homebuyers, realtors, and team members while supporting sales transactions and maintaining sales offices and files. The position calls for professional, ethical conduct and compliance with company quality standards.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or two years of related experience.
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime.
Ability to use DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Proficiency with MS Office and email.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior CRM software experience.
Previous sales experience; knowledge of the industry is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong motivation.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify visitors.
Demonstrate models, homes, and home sites.
Overcome sales objections and close sales.
Document transactions and cancellations.
Track the progress of loans, options, and construction.
Respond to customer requests for information.
Maintain lot files and sales files.
Monitor models and the sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, repairs, and other needs.
Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve potential buyers and increase company goodwill and profit.
Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
