About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Junior Sales Representative who will train to manage the entire home sales process and communicate with customers from their first interaction through the close of escrow. The role supports home sales by qualifying visitors, demonstrating homes and home sites, tracking transactions and construction progress, maintaining sales documentation, and providing professional service to prospective buyers. The position also helps ensure sales offices and models are appropriately maintained and that company policies and quality standards are followed.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or two years of related experience.
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime.
Ability to use DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior CRM software experience.
Previous sales experience; industry knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify visitors.
Demonstrate models, homes, and home sites.
Address sales objections and work to close sales.
Document transactions and any cancellations.
Track the progress of loans, options, and construction.
Respond to customer requests for information.
Maintain lot files and sales files.
Monitor models and the sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, repairs, and other needs.
Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve potential buyers and increase company goodwill and profit.
Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
