About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to train to manage the entire home sales process and communicate with customers from their first interaction through the close of escrow. The position supports prospective homebuyers and contributes to customer relationships, sales documentation, and compliance with company quality standards. The role involves working with prospective customers, realtors, and team members, as well as monitoring model homes and the sales office.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or two years of related experience.
Must have a vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive during daytime or nighttime.
Ability to use DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Proficiency with MS Office and email.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior CRM software experience.
Previous sales experience and knowledge of the industry.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify visitors.
Demonstrate model homes, homes, and home sites.
Address sales objections and close sales.
Document transactions.
Track the progress of loans, options, and construction.
Respond to customer requests for information.
Document cancellations.
Maintain lot files and sales files.
Monitor model homes and the sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, repairs, and other needs.
Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve potential buyers and increase company goodwill and profit.
Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
