About The Position

Corston Architectural Detail is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their showroom at the New York Design Centre. The role involves delivering best-in-class service to customers in the showroom or at tradeshows and driving sales through proactive outreach. Corston Architectural Detail was founded by a team of creative designers and engineers with a shared vision: to create high-quality, solid brass hardware, switches, outlets, and lighting that bring harmony and coordination from room to room. The company has experienced rapid growth and success in its five years, expanding into the UK, EU, UAE, and USA. The US business and operations are expanding quickly, supported by a customer service and warehouse team in Chicago and a new showroom in Manhattan at the New York Design Centre.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 year sales experience
• Excellent in-person and telephone skills
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills
• Thrives in face-paced environment
• The ability to build strong relationships
• Highly task and KPI driven

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, increase awareness and acquire new clients
• Proactively reach out to trade professionals to introduce Corston and invite them to the showroom
• Utilise Corston database lists to build new relationships and drive sales across NY and US
• Build and maintain long term relationships with our customers
• Follow up and communicate with showroom visitors promptly
• Review and approve trade applications
• Ensure the showroom is presentable at all times
• Represent Corston at tradeshows across the US
• Motivate, guide and inspire the Showroom Assistant
