Junior Maintenance Technician Location: Advance, NC Facility Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Junior Maintenance Technician supports the maintenance team by performing routine preventative maintenance, basic inspections, and general repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and stationary processing equipment. This position works under the guidance of the Lead Mechanic and Senior Maintenance Technicians while developing the skills necessary to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. This role includes routine maintenance on Class A trucks, trailers, yellow iron, and stationary equipment such as conveyors, trommel screeners, and grinders. The Junior Maintenance Technician will also assist senior technicians with more advanced diagnostics and repairs while accurately documenting maintenance activities using the company's maintenance management system. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring attention to detail, accountability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
