About The Position

Acuren is currently recruiting for a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Logistics & Equipment Administrator to support the day-to-day logistics and equipment needs of our operations at the LNG site in Kitimat, BC! In this role, you will help coordinate employee logistics, travel arrangements, safety training, drug and alcohol testing, site orientations, and equipment-related activities. You will work closely with internal teams and site personnel to ensure requirements are completed accurately and on time, while supporting smooth communication and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of up to 1-2 years of relevant experience in logistics or equipment coordination and/or administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and internet applications is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and partners.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, identify problems and provide potential solutions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in business processes, goals and priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and book all travel arrangements for employees, including flights, hotels, and car rentals, ensuring compliance with company travel policy guidelines and budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel details, including itineraries, hotel reservations, taxies and car rental confirmations.
  • Schedule and coordinate employee safety training sessions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and schedule pre-access drug and alcohol screenings for employees according to client requirements, ensuring timely completion and accurate recordkeeping.
  • May schedule and coordinate site orientations for new employees, ensuring awareness of site-specific safety protocols and procedures.
  • Coordinate employee accommodations and set up direct billing accounts with hotels.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing documents, answering phones, and responding to emails.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistical operations and efficient communication.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned.
