About The Position

Windsor Troy Law, LLP, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support its growing personal injury legal team and litigation function. The role works across phases of litigation, from preparing complaints through trial preparation, and reports directly to the Supervising Attorney. Requirements

At least 3 years of personal injury litigation experience as a paralegal in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
High proficiency in English and Spanish.
Experience with litigation in both California state and federal courts.
Ability to undertake complex projects.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft and Google software applications.
Familiarity with case management software, specifically FileVine.

Nice To Haves

An associate degree, bachelor's degree, or paralegal certificate is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare drafts of written discovery requests, responses, and personal injury complaints.
File pleadings and documents with the court, including all attachments required by the court.
Prepare legal pleadings, including motions, 998s, and deposition notices.
Prepare subpoenas to obtain records and documentation.
Assist with document and information production by analyzing requests, consulting internal partners, and obtaining, reviewing, and producing documents.
Guide the gathering of relevant materials and preparation of responses to litigation demands, discovery requests, subpoenas, and agency claims.
Organize and process pleadings, correspondence, exhibits, and other documents.
Coordinate document collections and productions.
Prepare objections and responses to subpoenas.
Manage service of process and daily calendaring and docketing of cases.
Draft routine correspondence and support special projects, including fact investigations and interviews.
Create internal templates, guidelines, and playbooks.
