About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Specialist to join our team. This position will primarily involve supporting hotel systems, providing technical assistance at the Margaritaville Resort, Lake Conroe, and managing user accounts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in IT.
1+ Year of experience working within the hospitality, restaurant, retail or any other multi-site industry is a plus.
Experience in technical support or a similar IT role.
Familiarity with corporate IT environments, and Active Directory / Azure account management is highly desirable.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Willingness and ability to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

Provide desktop support to hotel staff and corporate office employees, troubleshooting hardware, and software.
Maintain corporate applications and hotel systems.
Perform routine system checks and updates to ensure system integrity at hotel and corporate locations.
Assist with managing accounts in Azure, performing password resets, and maintaining user access rights.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement upgrades and new solutions across both environments.
Travel to various hotel and corporate sites to provide on-site technical assistance and maintenance.
Document issues and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
