About The Position

ISN is actively seeking Junior IT Specialists to provide technical support on a federal credential issuance and maintenance program supporting Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12) requirements for more than 65 locations nationwide. This role is a hybrid position based in proximity to Washington, DC. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to the following: • Act as a technical point of contact for system operations, technical support, and associated logistics. • Develop and present required briefings, reports, and other program-related materials. • Assist with training team personnel on system functionality and applicable administrative processes. • Provide support for HSPD-12 enrollment and SmartID card activation activities, including troubleshooting associated hardware and software issues. • Coordinate the shipment and delivery of equipment to field locations as required. • Perform maintenance and support activities for systems previously deployed to program locations. • Diagnose and resolves technical issues affecting end-user systems. • Operate USAccess functionality to support scheduling activities and modifications to site configurations. • Conduct system activation activities within the USAccess environment. • Provide secondary backup support to the designated USAccess Site Manager. • Participate in inventory reviews and related equipment accountability activities. • Provide ICAM SharePoint administrative support when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of IT support experience, with emphasis on end-user software support, database administration or management, software deployment, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to effectively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user hardware, software, and system-related issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or higher-level federal security clearance as required by the contract.
  • Must be in proximity to HQ Washington DC office and willing to travel onsite as needed.
  • Ability to meet and maintain the physical demands required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Must be able to reach, squat, bend, pull, grasp, hold, and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SharePoint and GSA scheduling tools is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience is highly preferred
