About The Position

Sonos is seeking an early-career Junior Copywriter to join BPM, its in-house creative team responsible for brand campaigns, social content, and cultural moments. The position is hybrid, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. Applicants must live within commuting distance of Sonos’s New York office. The Junior Copywriter will collaborate with writers, designers, and other creatives to develop and execute ideas across campaigns, social media, product launches, retail, CRM, and other projects. The role includes writing a range of copy, developing concepts, refining creative work, and learning to communicate Sonos products and technology in a clear, engaging, distinctly Sonos voice. The successful candidate will be curious, receptive to feedback, attentive to culture and craft, and motivated to learn and grow by making work on real-world timelines. Sonos cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer now and in the future. The base pay range is $73,000–$115,900, with the specific offer depending on location, qualifications, and experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits program to eligible regular full-time US employees beginning on day one.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of copywriting or creative experience; agency, in-house, freelance, internship, or other relevant experience counts.

  • Ideas and willingness to contribute them.
  • Curiosity about music, culture, design, technology, advertising, and current events.
  • Interest in making things, not just discussing them.

  • Ability to work through problems, try different approaches, and persist when the first solution is not right.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and ways of working, including AI.
  • Authorization to work for any US employer now and in the future; Sonos cannot sponsor employment visas.
  • Must live within commuting distance of the New York office.
