Junior Commercial Property Manager
About The Position
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Commercial Property Manager to join our team and help keep our properties operating at their best! This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial real estate experience who enjoys building strong tenant relationships, staying organized, and taking a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations. This role may involve the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support research, analysis, content development, design, reporting, or operational efficiency. Employees are expected to use AI responsibly and in compliance with company policies, data privacy requirements, confidentiality obligations, and applicable laws. All AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs must be reviewed for accuracy, quality, and appropriateness before use. Employees are also expected to disclose when AI tools have been used in the creation of work and must not present AI-generated content as solely their own original work.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience of commercial real estate experience.
- Must be technology/computer proficient
- Must be personable and reliable
- Have a good understanding of construction process and practices
- Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle
- Must be able to handle modern technology and be adaptable to change
- The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has strong initiative and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of constituents
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Proven capabilities in multi-tasking, problem solving and prioritizing workloads
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge about modern HVAC systems would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day to day building and site operations
- Develop strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and vendors
- Manage and provide direction to site staff
- Manage and prioritize tenant service requests
- Issue work orders to complete building or site maintenance and improvement work
- Ensure monthly service contracts are being completed in a timely professional manner
- Track keys and access FOBS
- Maintain all building and site maintenance logs
- Assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs
- When needed, assist and help manage tenant improvements
- Assist in obtaining bids and budgeting
- Help coordinate and manage all tenant appreciation events
- Manage and track maintenance inventory
- On-Call emergency response.
- Other duties as required.
