As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for the daily operations of your portfolio by selecting the products sold on Altitude-sports.com. You will monitor performance and maintain excellent supplier relationships to ensure activities align with corporate objectives.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma (DEC) in Fashion Marketing or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Robust analytical skills.
  • Interest in outdoor products and activities.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Drive portfolio growth by implementing strategic plans and merchandise assortments for major accounts.
  • Meet pre-established sales and purchasing budget targets for the Altitude Sports and The Last Hunt platforms.
  • Perform in-depth performance and budget analyses to identify and seize sales and margin opportunities.
  • Act as a key brand ambassador by developing strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to optimize conditions.
  • Work with the Planning team to manage the open-to-buy budget and optimize receipts, margins, and inventory levels.
  • Manage inventory flow by approving transfers, promotions, and end-of-season lists.
  • Identify, suggest, and integrate new brands for upcoming seasons.
