Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing, or related technical environments
  • Basic understanding of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and electrical control systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and engineering drawings
  • Troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems for industrial automation applications including PLCs, HMIs, drives, and networks
  • Create and sustain automation and control system architectures
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and system owners to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of automation systems
  • Analyze system requirements for industrial automated manufacturing control systems
