About The Position

Experior Financial Group is looking for a Junior Administrative Assistant for a 3-month contract to provide administrative support to our team. This is an entry-level position suitable for someone looking to gain workplace experience and develop their administrative skills. The successful candidate will be organized, reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a supportive team environment. Requirements

  • No previous administrative experience required; comprehensive training and guidance will be provided
  • Strong willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take on increasing responsibilities over time
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer proficiency with familiarity using Microsoft Office applications
  • Professional, courteous, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to assist others and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Reliable, punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a professional work environment
  • Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors and team members in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist with day-to-day office operations, including filing, scanning, photocopying, shredding, document preparation, and maintaining records
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in company systems, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Receive, sort, package, prepare, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, and deliveries
  • Maintain filing systems to ensure documents are easily accessible and properly maintained
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing documents, coordinating requests, and assisting with general office needs
  • Support office organization by maintaining supplies, workspaces, and shared areas in a neat and efficient manner
  • Follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality when handling company information and documents
  • Participate as a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) by attending meetings, supporting health and safety initiatives, and assisting with workplace safety awareness and compliance efforts
  • Participate in office projects, process improvements, and other initiatives as assigned
