Requirements

  • Have recently completed, or are close to completing, an undergraduate degree in accounting or a related discipline
  • Are eligible to enter the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) and committed to earning your CPA designation
  • Want to understand the work, not just complete the task
  • Enjoy building genuine relationships with clients and the people you work alongside
  • Ask thoughtful questions, seek feedback, and look for ways to keep getting better
  • Take ownership of your work and follow through on what you commit to
  • Have strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Pay attention to the details because you know the quality of your work matters
  • Want to contribute to a team where people rely on one another and succeed together
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, legal authorization to work in Canada by the start date of employment

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a dedicated coach who will support your development as you begin your CPA journey
  • Build your skills by assisting with compilation and review engagements for a variety of businesses and not-for-profit organizations
  • Gain experience preparing T1 personal, T2 corporate, and a variety of other tax returns
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver quality service and strengthen relationships
  • Take part in training, networking opportunities, and professional development programs that support your growth and CPA path
