About The Position

Vibe Restaurants is adding a Junior Accountant to its Accounting team to help support the company's growth and future scaling. The ideal candidate for this role will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and focus on accurate, timely reporting, process improvement, and automation. The essential functions of a restaurant Junior Accountant are to support the accounting team in managing daily financial operations. Their primary duties involve maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting, and ensuring the timely processing of financial transactions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Strong intercompany skills desired.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Must be able to work both in a team and be self-directed with independent decision-making capabilities.
• Must possess strong communication and negotiation skills to handle simple and/or complex situations.
• Must be resourceful, results-driven, and able to multitask and prioritize work with a sense of urgency.

Nice To Haves

• An Accounting or Finance degree from an accredited university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, reconcile, and investigate daily sales, cash deposits, and credit card receipts.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Make period-end journal entries as needed, such as accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.
• Process vendor invoices and pay vendors via check and ACH.
• Assist in sales and tax reporting.
• Help with creating budgets, forecasts, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Other ad-hoc projects, as assigned.
