About The Position

We are seeking a Jr UI/UX Designer to help us deliver AI-driven digital health solutions that balance complex user needs with business viability and technical feasibility. This individual will contribute to and help evolve a scalable, enterprise-grade design system that ensures visual and functional harmony across the entire Welldoc portfolio. This is a contract role lasting approximately 3-4 months.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC, while actively exploring AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, Lovable, and Figma AI.
• Deep familiarity with WCAG 2.2 and modern accessibility guidelines, ensuring inclusive design is a core component of the product strategy.
• Ability to justify design decisions through rigorous reasoning based on UX principles, user research, and product knowledge to stakeholders and development teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards while delivering at pace against ambitious deadlines.
• Ability to work in or be trained for ISO 13485, MDSAP, HITRUST, and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments.
• BA/BS or MS degree program in UI/UX Design (e.g., Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Information Systems Design or similar concentration) or equivalent experience.
• A robust portfolio showcasing a sophisticated UX process and end-to-end work samples that demonstrate how your designs solved complex, real-world problems and moved business metrics. Work must reflect a deep, individual thought process and original problem-solving rather than standard, "copy-paste" portfolio templates.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a gatekeeper for design quality by reviewing implementation deliverables from development teams to ensure the final product meets high standards for usability, aesthetic excellence, and accessibility compliance.
• Create design artifacts—including user flows and decision logs—that support the full product lifecycle and ensure design iterations meet the rigorous standards for regulatory filings in ISO 13485 and MDSAP environments.
• Partner deeply with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Scrum teams to iterate on complex UX flows and solve sophisticated product challenges in a collaborative, AI-driven environment.
