About The Position

The Burn-in Test Development Department develops Burn-in test programs to support Burn-in and QC testing for products ready for release and shipping. The department also develops test programs for New Product Introduction (NPI) testing, used to test new platform designs before production. The Jr. Software QA Engineer tests and maintains Burn-in test programs and documentation, sets up test environments, performs debugging and verification with R&D teams, and supports NPI quality-control testing and test-program maintenance across different product models and teams.

Requirements

Experience with Linux and shell script programming.
Programming or scripting skills, such as Python, VB Script, or Robot Framework.
Good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching protocols.
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Hardworking, with teamwork skills and the ability to multitask and respond quickly to system or service issues.
Highly motivated and responsible; a quick learner and self-starter.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
B.S. in EE, CS, or CE.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with front-end languages and libraries such as JavaScript and Vue.

Responsibilities

Test Burn-in test programs to ensure they are stable and functional, and maintain test documentation.
Set up testing environments; perform debugging, reproduce issues, and verify fixes with R&D developers across different product models.
Perform NPI QC testing on FGT models using Burn-in test programs.
Design and write test cases and test specifications for new NPI device models to verify product hardware, software, and firmware.
Support Burn-in test program maintenance for various models and teams.
