Jr. Software Engineer
About The Position
Full Visibility is seeking a Jr. Software Engineer to work in Huntsville, Alabama. The role supports IT infrastructure through the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects. Work includes integrating third-party components, adding custom capabilities, modifying existing code, recommending process improvements, and automating operations and maintenance tasks. At the direction of lead architects, the engineer develops and implements technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. The position participates in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. Duties also include technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and knowledge transfer on development best practices. The candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Depending on assignment, the position may require successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph and the ability to obtain and maintain any required CI Polygraph eligibility throughout employment. The stated salary range is $60,000–$80,000; individual salary determinations may consider local market conditions and candidate qualifications, including skills, education, and experience.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Ability to successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph if required, and to obtain and maintain any required CI Polygraph eligibility throughout employment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 3 years of Software Engineer experience.
- Experience with Java, C, and C# programming languages.
- Experience with .NET application development framework.
- Experience with Spring Boot Java backend framework.
- Experience with Angular frontend framework.
- Experience with REST APIs and API/backend architecture.
- Experience with backend server-side development.
- Experience with React frontend JavaScript framework/library.
- Experience with microservices backend architecture.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with Docker containerization.
- Experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Experience with Postgres relational database.
