About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to support a mission-critical cyber program delivering advanced capabilities to protect and enable national security operations. The engineer will work alongside experienced engineers and mission operators to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting real-world cyber missions. The role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while contributing to systems supporting cybersecurity and mission execution.

Requirements

• Experience with Java, C languages, and/or Python.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes in lieu of the degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Recommend improvements to documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
