Due to growth, we are currently seeking to add a Jr. Security Administrator to our exceptional team. You will be responsible for overseeing and resolving alerts and vulnerabilities for Charles IT and our clients, as well as executing on key takeaways from client monthly/weekly Security meetings. You will need to be outgoing, trustworthy, a team player, organized, and detail oriented.

Requirements

  • ISC CC, SC-900, or other entry-level security certifications are a requirement (must have at least 2).
  • 2 years of IT experience
  • Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, client-focused team.
  • Enthusiastic about taking on challenges in a growing company with a diverse client base.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in any IT field is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Experience with platforms like ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, and Office 365 is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Work SOC, vulnerability management tickets as assigned
  • Work tickets coming out of Monthly/Weekly client meetings
  • Address vulnerabilities within SLO
  • Communicate with clients effectively and clearly
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, including attending training sessions, obtaining relevant certifications, and participating in professional development opportunities.
