About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a motivated Security Administrator with a background in Army regulations pertaining to Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Cybersecurity. Must be able to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both oral and written; exhibit the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, work environment servicing multiple teams. Off Hours support may occasionally be required as mission dictates.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Previous experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 2 years of experience in a DoD, DoE or other industrial Security program and in-depth knowledge of the DoD, DoE or other government security regulatory manual.
  • Must have an Active current Secret clearance, with SAP eligibility, and the ability to upgrade to Top Secret.
  • Successful completion, or nearing completion, of a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum three years’ experience with Army regulations and processes relating to personnel verification, physical security reporting, and inventory requirements for classified holdings.
  • Familiarity with continuous monitoring techniques and routine documentation needed for PERSEC, PHYSEC, and cyber activities.
  • Hands-on experience using DoW and Army systems, such as DISS, AICIS, SWFT, eMASS, etc.
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to apply, OPSEC principles, PERSEC/PHYSEC measures, and professional conduct required for working within OSAs.

Nice To Haves

  • Security+, or willingness to obtain.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing data spillages and incident response measures.
  • Direct experience with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with compliance validations and assessment finding documentation for physical security (PHYSEC), personnel security (PERSEC), and media control processes IAW NIST SP 800-53r4.
  • Utilize various DoW and Army system of records to validate and maintain personnel security clearances and briefing information.
  • Manage various open storage areas (OSA), including OSA access lists, examine and archive DD Forms 701 and 702 records, and conduct end-of-day checks as needed.
  • Responsible for the routine maintenance of security containers and classified holding inventories.
  • Assist contractors and civilians with government facility badges and CAC requests.
  • Provide security support for classified meetings, to include clearance verifications and maintenance of visitor rosters.
  • Manage contractors’ VARs as necessary for facility access and meeting support.
  • Complete processes for classified transmittals, to include drafting DA Form 3964 documentation and package preparation.
  • Perform physical destruction procedures on target media and update inventory records as appropriate.
