About The Position

GLE Associates is seeking an Industrial Hygiene/Project Manager to join its growing team in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office. The role supports client service through technical expertise and creativity, with a focus on industrial hygiene work and project management. The position involves field work and site travel. Night and weekend work may be required. Applicants must provide their own transportation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Hygiene/Safety.
• At least 3–7 years of experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning, and reporting; the description also states 3–5 years minimum in one section.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to provide outstanding customer response and satisfaction.
• Valid driver’s license; field work and site travel are involved, and the candidate is responsible for transportation.
• Possibility of working nights and weekends is required.

Nice To Haves

• Asbestos certifications, such as Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor, and NIOSH certifications; current asbestos certifications are a plus.
• Experience performing asbestos inspections in numerous and varied situations and locations, including NESHAP and AHERA.
• Experience with mold assessments and industrial hygiene services in general.
• Experience with lead-based paint projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos inspections, bulk sampling, and air monitoring.
• Conduct mold investigations.
• Manage lead-based paint projects.

• Prepare reports and proposals.
• Manage budgets and maintain close interaction with clients.
