About The Position

The Jr. Plant Project Manager plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to scope, timeline, and budget. The role directs or advises internal and external resources in a matrixed organization and coordinates team members to ensure timely project delivery. Based in Grand Prairie, the position oversees detailed engineering, manufacturing, factory customer acceptance testing, and delivery in a fast-paced engineer-to-order environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is strongly desired; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field will also be considered.
At least 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry in an engineering role.
Knowledge of SAP.
Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Oversee detailed engineering, manufacturing, factory customer acceptance testing, and delivery in an engineer-to-order environment.
Review order content and manage the engineering approval process, including submittal, on-board approval, and return, as well as certified order planning.
Proactively lead changes in project scope to improve project success and minimize risk to the customer and the company.
Manage order content, delivery dates, final shipment, and location/call-ahead functions.
Own the project Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) readiness review process, planning, and execution.
Maintain relationships with project manager peers and internal partners.
Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to scope, timeline, and budget; direct or advise internal and external resources and coordinate team members for timely delivery.
