About The Position

GLE Associates is seeking an Industrial Hygiene/Project Manager for its Fort Lauderdale, Florida office. As part of a collaborative team, the successful candidate will help provide outstanding client service through creativity and technical expertise. The role involves industrial hygiene fieldwork and project management, including asbestos, mold, and lead-based paint work, reporting, proposals, budgets, and client interaction. Fieldwork and travel to sites are involved, and the candidate is responsible for transportation. Working nights and weekends may be required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Hygiene/Safety.
At least 3–7 years of experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning, and reporting; an earlier section of the posting states 3–5 years minimum.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to provide high-quality customer response and satisfaction.
Valid driver’s license; fieldwork and site travel are involved, and the candidate is responsible for transportation.
Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

Asbestos certifications, such as Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor, and NIOSH; current asbestos certifications are also noted as a plus.
Experience conducting asbestos inspections in varied situations and locations, including NESHAP and AHERA work.
Experience with mold assessments and industrial hygiene services generally.
Experience with lead-based paint projects.
