About The Position
Guidehouse is seeking financial management professionals to support a Department of Defense client. The team’s work draws on financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy. Guidehouse provides knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, DoD financial management policies and organizational structures; financial audit statements and audit readiness services; OMB policies and federal financial management systems; and DoD acquisition, inventory, property, and material management.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance; approved clearance adjudication is required before onboarding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Zero to one year of professional experience.
Nice To Haves
- Currently possess an active SECRET or higher-level security clearance.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration.
- Experience with FASAB SFFAS 6 (Property, Plant and Equipment), 10 (Internal Use Software), 50 (Establishing Opening Balances for Property, Plant and Equipment), and/or 54 (Leases).
- Experience with OMB Circular A-123 and/or A-136.
- Federal financial management or federal accounting experience supporting the Air Force, Army, and/or Navy.
- One or more of the following certifications: CPA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, or CDFM.
