About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers by providing technical support, under guidance, for research, planning, designing, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical products and systems. The role involves design support for products and systems using 3D modeling in SolidWorks, and drafting support in 2D CAD, including analyzing tolerances and reviewing vendor process capability. The Jr. Engineer will assist in troubleshooting and engineering analysis for NPI and sustaining engineering projects using principles of solid and fluid mechanics. Responsibilities include planning and drafting test protocols, designing test fixtures, and conducting laboratory testing. Data analysis and incorporation into design and development activities are key. The role also supports documentation and technical writing for Change Orders, Temporary Deviations, Work Instructions, and Best Practice Manuals, and assists in implementation activities to ensure products and systems meet specifications. Additionally, the Jr. Engineer will help evaluate field and warranty issues, recommending and driving design modifications to address product and process weaknesses, all while adhering to ISO and Stage Gate processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in 3D solid modeling, 2D drafting, and MS Office.

Responsibilities
