Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred (JAMIS Prime experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • JAMIS Prime experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable invoices and ensure proper coding and supporting documentation
  • Enter subcontractor invoices and assist with subcontractor accounts payable tracking
  • Assist with accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing, and collections support
  • Maintain customer and vendor records within the accounting system
  • Support project cost tracking and validate labor, subcontractor, travel, and other direct costs
  • Assist with contract and project setup activities within the accounting system
  • Prepare invoice supporting documentation and maintain organized accounting records
  • Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and assist with collection efforts
  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and project costs
  • Support audit requests by gathering and organizing supporting documentation
  • Maintain accounting files and documentation in accordance with company policies and record retention requirements
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the Accounting Department
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and contract compliance
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
