About The Position

Napleton's Valley Hyundai is hiring a Journeyman Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealer and factory standards. The role supports customer loyalty by building trust and confidence through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair. The shop services more than 100 cars per day. The company offers a sign-on bonus for experienced Hyundai/Genesis technicians, though no bonus amount is specified.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Be a self-starter and process-driven.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• Be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel and ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, as required.
• Update technical skills and techniques through formal training to keep pace with changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management informed about mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
