About The Position

Southern Air NOLA is seeking a self-motivated Journeyman Plumber with a positive attitude to join their growing plumbing team. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues. The plumber will provide comprehensive services, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, and ensure compliance with local codes. Excellent customer service, clear communication with clients about concerns and solutions, and maintaining detailed service records are essential. Adherence to company safety protocols and training is also required.

Requirements

1-5 Years Plumbing experience preferred
Plumbing degree, license, or apprenticeship
Current plumbing certification as required by state
Familiarity with diagnosis and repair of residential plumbing issues
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues
Execute effective troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of plumbing issues
Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues
Provide comprehensive plumbing services for residential customers
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations
Interact professionally and honestly with customers to help them understand plumbing concerns and solutions
Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain detailed records of services, including documenting pictures of before and after services have been completed
Educate customers on best practices for their plumbing systems
Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures
Attend appropriate safety training as required by the company
