About The Position

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is seeking Journeyman Plumbers to join its growing tenant improvement team. The company provides skilled commercial services, including commercial new construction, tenant improvements, remodels, 24/7 emergency response, and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience with commercial new construction or tenant improvement projects. This position works Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Overtime may be available but is not guaranteed.

Requirements

At least four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience.
Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Verbal and written English literacy for cell phone and mobile email communication.

Responsibilities

Attach or install plumbing pipes, including PVC, ABS, no-hub cast iron, and/or copper.
Mount new fixtures according to manufacturer specifications and municipal codes.
Install services for grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste, water systems, and utilities in commercial retail environments.
Perform manual jobsite labor, including digging trenches, setting braces to support excavation sides, erecting scaffolding, and cleaning rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
Properly use equipment such as jackhammers and saw cutters.
Read and lay out work from blueprints, plans, and isometric drawings.
Work according to current OSHA safety guidelines and policies.
Take on additional duties as needed to support the department.
